Literacy Plan: ANEP and MIDES presented Phase 2

The National Public Education Administration (ANEP) and the Ministry of Development Social (MIDES) will present the second phase of Plan for Literacy "In the land of Varela: I can", which shall address, as of next August, 1659 to other youth and adults.

The launch will take place in the Conference Room of ANEP (Cologne 1013 - floor 4). With the participation of the National Public Education Director, Luis Yarzábal and the Minister of Social Development, Marina Arismendi.

The second phase of the program provides coverage to provide education to other youth and 1,659 adults who have been identified as pure illiterate or functionally illiterate (who missed out over 3 years of primary education).

The plan, which lasts four months, involving over a hundred ANEP teachers who work in 59 locations across the country.
